A Wonder Smoothie created by Claire Turnbull from Mission Nutrition, to give you that boost of energy when you need it most!
- 100mL trim milk
- 100mL water
- 2 Tbsp vanilla protein powder (or plain yoghurt)
- 1/2 – 3/4 cup blueberries
- Handful of fresh baby spinach
- 2 tsp ground LSA (Linseed, Sunflower and Almond)
- Pinch of cinnamon (optional)
Blend until well mixed together.

I find this smoothie great to eat as a snack, especially after the gym. You know that hunger the you feel after you’ve exercised (unless its just me who is always hungry… in which case, just enjoy the smoothie!)? The protein powder and ground LSA help keep you fuller for longer, reducing the need to graze on those unhealthy snack foods that will undo all your hard work! Ground LSA is a fantastic source of Omega 3, good fatty acids and fibre, plus almonds have shown to help reduce blood pressure and lower cholesterol levels. It’s good news all round!
