- 1/2 cup frozen mixed berries

This smoothie is quick, easy and incredibly refreshing. Perfect for cooling off after spending the day outside in the sun. Coconut water has become one of those buzz words in health trends. It’s proven popular with many athletes as it’s packed full with electrolytes and potassium and is naturally cholesterol and fat free – a great way for athletes to hydrate after a workout. With us not so athletic humans, we love it for its sweet, nutty taste that mixes well with berries. Coconut water is one to watch out for though; it may have less sugar than regular sports drinks but some have extra added sugar to make them taste that much better. Try to find plain coconut waters and avoid the ones with added sugar, or consume them as a treat in moderation.
